What is Cook with Chefs all about? If you find yourself drawn to the story behind the plate, then you’re exactly where you belong.

There’s something endlessly compelling about the people who bring a dish to life. The chefs whose energy, discipline, and creativity transform ingredients into something memorable. Who are they? What drives them? What first pulled them into the kitchen—and what keeps them there?

These are the questions that have always lingered for me. That—and, quite simply: how did they do this?

It’s the same sense of wonder I feel when I encounter an extraordinary cocktail—one that somehow blends flavors I would have never imagined working together (popcorn, anyone?) until that first sip proves otherwise.

Cook with Chefs exists to explore those moments of curiosity and discovery. Through thoughtful profiles and carefully shared recipes, we aim to bring you closer to the craft—and the people—behind the food you love.

A note on the recipes: these are true chef creations. Some may call for techniques you haven’t yet tried or equipment not currently in your kitchen. That’s part of the adventure. You can always move on to the next dish—or, if you’re anything like me, you might just find yourself ordering that new piece of gear on the spot. (That’s exactly how I ended up with a sous vide machine.)
